Char Bazaar guide

The Bazaar on Tibians is not „click and watch". It's a powerful tool with presets, URL state, contextual filters and live SSE. In this guide we'll show you how to squeeze every last drop out of it.

Quick filters (left sidebar)

All filters show faceted counts immediately — how many results remain after picking a given option. For example, clicking Knight shows you the count of available Knights on each world.

Contextual filters (advanced)

The Advanced filters panel shows options tailored to the selected vocation:

• Knight: skill min for Axe / Club / Sword / Distance / Shielding
• Paladin: Distance + loyalty + charm points
• Sorcerer/Druid: Magic Level + element damage + soul points
• Monk: Fist Fighting + loyalty

This is the key to finding hidden gems.

Presets

You don't have to set filters from scratch every time. We have 5 hardcoded presets + a slot for your own (localStorage, max 3):

• 🛡️ Knight 300–600 EU < 15k — for those hunting a strong EC starter
• 🦅 Monk with Soul War — for fist fighting fans post-rotation
• 🏹 Paladin Distance 250+ — for hunter builds
• 💰 Cheap Knight < 5k — for budget builds
• ⚠️ Overpriced — algorithm flags suspiciously expensive auctions

URL state + share link

Every filter is in the URL. That means:

1. You can send a friend the exact same configuration.
2. Browser back / forward works with filters (does not reset them).
3. To the left of the list you see active filters as removable chips +

Auction browser

Every auction card has three CTAs:

• 🎯 Bid on Tibia.com — external link with target=_blank.
• 🔬 Analyze in Workspace — opens /workspace?auction={id} with the snapshot prefilled for manual analysis.
• ⚖️ Add to compare — pick a second auction and click its „Add to compare" — you'll get a side-by-side with the Advantage column.

Live SSE

The newest auctions (< 1h before end) update the bid live via Server-Sent Events. No polling, no delay, no extra requests.

When SSE does not work (firewall, ad-blocker) — automatic fallback to polling every 30 s.

Comparing

/bazaar/compare?a={ID1}&b={ID2} shows all columns side-by-side
